Hi. Topic title states the bleeding obvious. My boyfriend Kris's family pet Rottie Borris, doesn't like the new dog flap which has just been fitted in the dining room. He just won't go through it even when its open to him and the other two staffordshire Colly Crosses. We got him straight through it no problems yesterday when I happened to keep some bacon back from our Breakfast of bacon toasties, but the whole idea of the dog flap of course is that the dogs let themselves in and out of the house, saving someone always having to open and shut the outside dining room door for them, but unlike his two smaller playmates, Borris, at the moment, thinks somebody'll always let him outside by opening the side door. What we need from any Zoners who are experiencing or have experienced any similar problems of this nature, to suggest ways other than leaving food inside or outside the flap to persuade Borris to use it, because then, Poppy and Toby, the two smaller Staffy Colly Crosses would take it for themselves and it'll be a no win situation for Kris and his parents. The other two dogs are using the flap if they want to go in or outside.
